Good place to stay.

Great location, amazing view from the balcony, comfy bed, and nice interior. There’s a grocery shop next door and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Breakfast was a bit dissapointing, limited selection and almost no fresh fruits or vegetables. They offered fresh orange juice, but we often noticed rotten oranges in machine.

The terrace and pool are supernice. The breakfast is quite good, fresh and diverse in food options. I definitely recommend getting a massage. The room is comfortable and clean.

My room did not have a view, my window was almost completely facing a wall.

Hotel great but in a boring location

The breakfast was amazing, the room was cosy. the shower great, the pool and sunbeds good.

This hotel is in the North where there is no bike hire, no boat trips go from here, no action at all. The first room we got was very noisy as it was right next to the fire escape that the staff kept shutting with a bang every 7 minutes. Was impossible to sleep, but the next room we got was fine for noise.

Relaxing January

Staff where great. Decent breakfast, clean and in a good location in Las Palmas. Supermarket across from the hotel and probably the closest I've ever stayed beside the sea and the sound at night off the waves is amazing and relaxing.

Rooms advertised are well photographed to look larger than what they really are..there's no room what so ever to put your clothes away so you're constantly living out of your suitcase. Really only suitable for a weekend stay.. The infinity looking swimming pool is a paddling pool..seriously! No bar in the hotel either but there's one just outside.

Stylish hotel, good facilities.

The deluxe double with sea view was a great size room, good size wardrobe space and nice bathroom with walk in shower.

More hooks for coats, towels etc in the hall area, bathroom or closet would have been useful. A better supply of coffee pods, however we did source our own from the supermarket opposite. Gym wasn't very welcoming, we popped in in the evening and looked to be filled by a local group of men - unsure if staff but we didn't feel comfortable to enter.

A convenient and friendly hotel for a short stay, convenient for most parts of the city.

The view was fantastic, especially the beautiful colour of the surf. The location was convenient for both sides of the promenade, although nearer to the Auditorium end which has fewer bars/restaurants. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Santa Catalina bus station which is where the airport bus terminates and where the buses to other parts of the island go from. The bathroom had a very good walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, plus a hand-held shower. Pleasant reception and housekeeping staff and the Socco(?) coffee shop next door served very good coffee. The old town of Vegueta is worth a visit and easy to get to. Catch any bus at Santa Catalina bus station that goes into San Telmo bus station and you're there.

Having paid for a deluxe sea-facing room we were disappointed as we were only twice able to sit for a short period of time on the balcony due to the extremely high winds (not the hotel's fault obviously!) The balcony door was so stiff we had to put our feet against the wall to open it, which one would think would have been noticed by the housekeeping staff and reported to the maintenance team! As the weather wasn't good enough to sit out much, we didn't report it to reception until we were leaving so can't comment on whether or not it would have been fixed. There was not enough room to put clothes when staying for a week. The hotel rooms are like many other hotels these days - very minimalistic. There was one drawer and one shelf, plus some hanging space with a few hangers (we always take spares anyway) and, strangely, the only mirror in the room was BEHIND the hanging clothes! There was a large round dark blue plaque in the bedroom which was presumably supposed to be artwork but it would have been much more useful if it had been a mirror. This meant that to put make-up on/dry hair, I had to use the bathroom mirror and the bathroom wasn't big enough for 2 people to be using it at the same time. We would stay again but for a shorter time and at a time of year when perhaps the wind is not as strong or the temperature is higher. If we were to visit Gran Canaria again at this time of year we would probably stay in one of the resorts (which is not really our thing) as they're further south and have better weather, and then visit other parts of the island from there. At 25 euros round trip (for 2) from Las Palmas to Maspalomas/Playa del Ingles, it would be cheaper to stay there and visit Las Palmas for the day and visit places such as Playa Mogan etc than to stay in Las Palmas and visit from there.

Rooftop pool area disappointing - tiny pool and six sunbeds for a large hotel. Also room storage poor - one tiny drawer !

Lovely hotel and staff. Parking too far away.

Staff were great. The room was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. It was modern and everything was new.

The car park was a long distance from the hotel and cost 15€ per day.
